NXT, WWE's training promotion for pro wrestlers pre going to the main roster of Smackdown and RAW, makes a pretty regular habit of stopping in Nashville. "Training" might be a bit of a stretch to try to classify some of these wrestlers under though. Many of them have been wrestling for a very long time and have more experience then some regularly seen on RAW. What that means is that you can get very good seats in an intimate atmosphere with wrestlers who are not only VERY good, but you will also probably soon be seeing on tv in a big arena. Take for example Candice Lerae and Johnny Gargano, a real life husband and wife set of wrestlers who have been doing this a long time but who, in Candice's case, were just hired by WWE. Nashville got to see the first time she and her husband were paired up to wrestle for their new promotion. Because this isn't QUITE a big arena event, NXT always books the War Memorial and puts on a heck of a show in a venue that is small enough that you can really see what's going on. The atmosphere has become even more family oriented since I went to the show they first time they came in town. The first time two years ago there were maybe a handful of kids. This time there were a ton of kids and many more women there. Apparently for pro wrestling enthusiasts it has become more known that you can get very good seats for a good price.
If you've got kids in to wrestling, it's worth taking them to this event when it comes through, generally about once a year.
